Frequently Asked Questions
What is PhotoSt0ry's style?

The style will very much depend on what the couple or event wants. Most importantly, PhotoSt0ry aims to inject creativity with a tinge of excitement or glamour for every photo shoot. Our goal is to create pictures that capture your love and tell your story. You might be casual and fun, or maybe you’d like it more romantic and dramatic? You will have endless possibilities and locations, and we’re always excited to explore new ideas with you.

On your wedding day, we capture your moments as it unfolds. We promise to be unobstrusive and observant, as we tell your story from the moment you wake up until the party ends. Focusing on your heartfelt emotions, we shoot endless expression from the little baby giggling at your party to the happy tears of your grandparents.

What file type do you photograph in? RAW or JPEG?

All images are shot in the RAW format, developed and optimized, and presented in JPEG format.

How many photographers will be at my wedding?

For each wedding/event, we work as a team. As such, there will be two photographers.

You see, the tricky thing with wedding/event photography is that we have to find beautiful and candid images where everything happens so fast, usually with very little lights, and there’s no way of repeating the moment! But that’s just the sort of excitement that pushes us to create fresh images that’s truly you.

How far should we book in advance?

We usually require at least 3-4 months in advance as soon as you have decided your date and venue.

There is a definite ‘wedding season’ in Singapore/Malaysia and busy months can fill up fast. As we operate in a small team, therefore we only can take a maximum of 2-3 weddings per month.

What is required to book the date?

To book your wedding/event date, a retainer fee and a signed contract will be required. Bookings are accepted on a first come/first serve basis and dates will not be held without the retainer and signed contract. A final payment will be made on the actual day itself.

Is make up provided?

We are sorry, but make up is not provided. We feel that make up is something very personal that needs to suit you. Instead of us doing make up for you (which would be a disaster! Trust us, photographers are lousy at make up!), we will refer you to a list of some very talented make up artists we’ve worked with. You deserve the best!

Do you provide any wedding gown/dress for the pre-wedding shoot?

We sincerely apologize but we do not provide wedding gowns/dresses for the photo shoots. The reason to this is because there are many different styles of wedding gowns on the market; therefore we would recommend you to order the dress you like in different bridal shops. We will however be able to recommend different good bridal shops for you where you will be able to wear a lovely wedding gown or dress for your photo shoot.

I hate posing for pictures. Do I have to pose?

We know what you mean. We hate posing for pictures too! Posing isn’t natural and we don’t think it looks natural either. Our style is all about capturing the REAL you and the JOY of your wedding day.

I have certain style that I prefer in mind, will PhotoSt0ry© be able to produce the similar style?

We will definitely try our best to produce the best effect, if not, better!

How long after the event will the photos be ready?

Each photography studio varies in the time it takes to produce and deliver your pictures. Studios that do not do any post production or color correction may try to entice you by saying your photos will be ready the next day, or even within a week.

PhotoSt0ry© has developed a consistent production schedule in order to deliver an amazing product in an exceptionally quick manner. The process timeline can be seen below:

  • 1-2 Weeks – Post production and color correction of photos.
  • 2-3 Weeks – Special editing for selected photos (For album printing).
  • 3-4 Weeks – Customizing and designing of DVD cover and label.
  • 4-5 Weeks – DVD parcel is delivered.
